How we are structured, and why

We operate a structure that puts the full strength of our model behind every project.

Fairaction operates a hybrid structure. An accountable core leads the organisation and directs the research programme, and specialist capability is contracted to named operating partners, so every project carries deeper expertise than any single in-house team could hold.

We specialise in water sustainability. The structure is set up to build the knowledge of why water projects fail and what keeps water flowing, so communities get reliable water and the water sector gets a model it can adopt and adapt. We prove it in Nigeria, where sustaining water infrastructure is highly complex, and our mission is to scale it to other regions in support of the global goal of clean water for all.

Every kiosk we build is run day to day by an attendant we employ full time, recruited from the community it serves. They are shown here as a standing role rather than as named individuals, because the role is tied to each kiosk and the team changes as new sites open.
